To make purchases in the Tribe-Asia online store, it is necessary to become a Tribe-Asia member. Membership is free and benefits include notices of sales, new products, activities and other valuable information. Click on Member Log-in to sign up. If you are already a member, it is necessary to log-in each time you shop on this site.
Please make sure that your mailing address, including zip or postal code, and telephone number are correct to ensure that your order arrives safely and in the shortest amount of time possible. Also provide a valid e-mail address for order confirmation.
Choose shipping option. International orders are shipped via EMS (Express Mail Service). If you would like your order shipped via another courier service such as UPS, DHL or FedEx please e-mail to info@tribe-asia.com for a shipping quote. Shipment to a Taiwan address is free of charge.

After completing the check out procedure, you will be brought to the Paypal log-in page to complete payment. If you have a Paypal account, log into to it and follow the payment procedures. If you do not have a Paypal account, you can sign up for one. Paypal accounts are free and highly secure. If you do not want to sign up for an account, you can still make payment through the Paypal site. Follow the instructions to complete payment without a Paypal account.

Please note that prices and totals are in US dollars.
Please complete your order via the online shopping cart. Choose shipping option: Via EMS for orders to be shipped outside of Taiwan or Free in Taiwan for orders to be shipped to an address within Taiwan. Shipping fees for orders to be sent outside of Taiwan are calculated automatically based on the TOTAL WEIGHT of the order. Payment may be made via Paypal.com once you have completed your order.

Once you click on the Order Complete button you will be taken to the sign-up/log-in page on Paypal.com.
If you do not have a Paypal account sign-up is free and easy. However, it is not necessary to have a Paypal account to complete payment of your Tribe-Asia order. For further information about Paypal, go to www.paypal.com

Payment is made through Paypal, a highly secure payment gateway that uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt online order information. Tribe-Asia membership information is password protected.  Tribe-Asia does not keep a record of member passwords. If you forget your password, go to Member Log-In and click on “Forget your password?” Fill in your username and e-mail address and a new password will be sent to you.

Choose from two options: Express Mail Service (EMS) or Free in Taiwan.

EMS (Express Mail Service) is an international courier service. It includes a tracking system and deliveries must be signed for. Provide a home or office address including postal code and telephone number. Please no post office boxes.
If you prefer another courier service, such as DHL, FedEx or UPS, please e-mail to info@tribe-asia.com for a shipping quote.

Shipping charges will be calculated based on TOTAL WEIGHT of all ordered products.
Expect two to four weeks for delivery.
Customer is responsible for re-shipment charges if package is returned due to incorrect information provided, if no one is available to sign on repeated attempts to deliver or order is not picked up from the location cited on delivery notice during the specified period of time.

Customer is responsible for import duties.

Free shipping is available only if order is sent to an address within Taiwan. Please do not click on this option if your package is to be sent to an address outside of Taiwan.

Many of the products in the Tribe-Asia online store are handmade or mostly handmade handicrafts and art works. As such, many of them are one of a kind. Some artists may produce a line of similar products, but because they are handmade no two will be exactly the same. As most indigenous and ethnic artists and artisans in Asia are only able to work on their craft part time, and handmade works are time consuming to make, it may not always be possible for items from a particular artist to be quickly restocked. It is highly recommended that if interested in a product that you place your order as quickly as possible to avoid disappointment.
The Tribe-Asia team will make every effort to remove sold items from the Tribe-Asia Website immediately. However, if the product you have ordered is out of stock, we will notify you as to the availability of a similar item. You may choose to wait for a similar item, exchange for another item of equal value or receive a refund through Paypal.

Returns are accepted if item was damaged during shipment, found to be defective or does not match the product description accurately. Please note that for handmade items and art works no two will look exactly alike, thus some variation will occur. Returns must be made within seven (7) days of delivery for a full refund of the item only. However, items may not be used or altered in any way. Buyer is responsible for the return shipment by reliable courier/shipping company. Refunds are also offered for lost packages with verification of loss by courier/shipping company. Or, instead of a refund, buyers may choose to exchange for another item of equal value. All refunds are made through Paypal.
